I have found that being behind the camera is a feeling I can’t replicate anywhere else. I don’t see photography as a cut & dry quick transaction between one another. I see it as embracing your personality and reflecting exactly who you are today. This makes it worth documenting your story in an artistic way. I appreciate how photographs have the ability to carry so much weight that transcends time. We get to freeze a moment together so that when you open these photographs you will hear the belly laughs, feel the raw emotions and see a true reflection of yourself. I won’t be just your photographer. I’ll be your friend walking beside you creating something unique and worth preserving, together.

A little about me

I am here to intentionally honor your story and to hold space for intimacy and connection whether it's with yourself or with others. I will help you feel comfortable in sharing what's most special to you. This experience looks like a time together where we don't feel rushed or pressured to perform. My approach is not about orchestrating perfect poses and unnatural forms. We want an atmosphere that allows you to move authentically and effortlessly. This is where the magic will happen. The raw, beautiful, wild, quiet, timeless magic that brings out the true essence and style of you. My desire is to capture your personal story that will be remembered forever.
Photography has been in my life for years. However, meeting people for intentional sessions is new for me. I have three boys and they constantly ignite my desire to capture every little thing and burn it into my mind forever. I love that photographs are the closest thing on earth that we have to reliving a memory. They can instantly ignite our senses and, just like that, we're experiencing the past. There's a real fear around forgetting what once was there that isn't anymore. Photographs are the best way to capture all of the details and stir up our deepest memories.
I aim to document the truth and all it represents. While it's important to capture the joyful moments and the ecstacy of life I feel it's just as important to document the parts that are heavy and hard to hold. These are the moments that I see from behind the lens that translate to what it means to be human and to deeply feel life around us.
I believe that love is love. When I am intentionally holding space to connect with each person this includes LGBTQIA+ individuals and couples with open arms.
My love for Brent started when we were sixteen. He's always been my best friend and the one I can be myself with. We’re both headstrong, passionate and would do anything for our boys. When I see photos of our three sons the emotions hit me like a ton of bricks. They are the coolest kids and I am so obsessed with them it hurts.
I've enjoyed tapping into my own inner child when playing with them. We spend a lot of time collecting treasures outside and it's a bonus if we're exploring near the water, buckets in tow. I love travelling with my husband and playing card games with my siblings. I bake tons of bread and don't spend a single second regretting it. I paint or sketch when I can. I get a high from learning how to do new things especially if it’s self-taught. Ultimately, I love being with my people.
